Abstract

A measuring circuit (1) has an input (2) for the voltage from a detector (A) and is protected from overvoltages by diodes (10). The signal is integrated (3) to produce a sawtooth waveform, which is applied to a comparator (7) to produce an average value from the frequency of this output. The input is also applied to a comparator (11) with variable (12) reference level whose output is connected to an alarm (8) and to a gate (13) to allow clock (14) pulses to enter a decimal counter (15) representing time measurements. This data is sent to a memory stage (22) and the average value is passed by a counter (9) for further comparisons (27) before entry to the memory stage.
