Abstract

1374683 Pulse regenerating circuits BODENSEEWERK GERATETECHNIK GmbH 18 July 1972 [26 Aug 1971] 33591/72 Heading H3T A circuit for producing an indication when a signal is outside predetermined limits produces its output only if the signal is outside for more than a predetermined total time during a given measuring period, whereby false indication due to transitory signals is avoided. Amplifiers 28, 30 receive the input signal 10 and upper and lower reference levels. If the signal is outside the range between these levels a constant voltage is passed to an integrator 40, 46, and if the output from this rises above a reference level 24 at the input of a comparator 54 an output indication is given. The integrator is periodically reset by a transistor 48 acting in conjunction with a zener diode 46. It is stated that the output from the level detector 28, 29 may be constant frequency pulses instead of a constant voltage.
