Abstract

Piston compressor cylinder has suction valves, each of which connects the suction space of the cylinder with its stroke space and is a set of successive alternating elastic toothed annular plates and stiff annular seats with radial channels for throughflow of the medium to be compressed. Pressure valves of the cylinder each connects its pressure space to its stroke space, and are similarly constructed. At least one cylinder valve has a conventional regulator for the cylinder throughput; the axially-movable element of the regulator is coaxial with the cylinder valve and fitted within it. Efficiency is increased by regulation of the compressor throughput w.r.t. the cylinder valve.
