Abstract

Frame to hold together bundles of long objects, for transport or storage consists of a base (4) and two vertical sides (6, 7) one at least of which (7) can pivot round a hinge (9) on the base, and a removable horizontal top iece (5). The base (4) can have a foam rubber coating (26) on its underside. A number of such frames can be arranged along the length of the bundle, and held in relative position by longitudinal struts (27). The frames can have an intermediate horizontal member mounted beneath the top strut for use with a reduced height bundle. Hooks etc. can be fixed to the top to assist lifting the bundles.
