Abstract

Concrete mouldings mfr. comprises pouring concrete into a vessel consisting of a mould-liner which has a continuous surface and is moulded in synthetic resin, and located in a strong supporting mould, the latter not possessing a precision surface because the surface of the mould-liner determines the dimensions and the appropriate surface finish of the parts being made. After moulding, the part is extracted from the mould liner without difficulty due to the lack of adhesion between the concrete and the liner which is made using a simple pattern and several successive layers of the liner matl. the pattern being used to make the required number of liners whereas the supporting mould has unlimited life. The mould-liner has a continuous surface, so the moulded parts have no flash due to joint-lines and the liners are simple to make and inexpensive, the supporting mould does not require a precise finish.
