Abstract

The pre-heater consists of a cylindrical container closed at both ends. Inside the container is a second cylindrical container (3) inside which is a coil (9) which connects with the outside cylinder at the orifice (12). The other end of the coil connects with the T-piece (7). Inside the coil there is a heating element (10) which passes down the centre of the coil. A thermostat (6) is fitted inside the T-piece (7). The main feed is at (5) and the main feed of heated is recirculated from (7) to an auxiliary inlet (11) without cooling down. A spring loaded safety valve is at (13).
