Abstract

The material to be treated is placed between the electrodes. One electrode is much longer than the other. In order to maintain a certain continuous and constant field, the other electrode is placed in an enclosed rack in contact with the first electrode. The rack is staggered with respect to the first electrode. The electrodes are connected to an h.f. generator and one of them limits a space open on at least on of its sides, in which the treated object is placed. The other electrode is in the above rack closed by screening plates. The rack connects the first electrode to the high frequency generator.
