Abstract

The ventilation section is positioned lengthwise between the covering layer and the support. The brick course is 0.3, 0.4 or 0.5 centimetres thick. Cement mortar 0.4. centimetres thick binds the bricks together. A gap of five millimetres is left between bricks. The holes run lengthwise inside the bricks. Metal sheeting enables heat to be reflected back; the walls of the hollow bricks are insulated. The bricks are mounted on a support. The bricks have holes which either run horizontally or vertically and circulating air aids the noise insulation properties.
