Abstract

This system is suitable where the gearbox is close to the control lever and for gearboxes placed laterally with respect to the lever. A gear lever (1) is attached to a bracket (4) which moves about the Y axis on bearings (5) assembled to a cross coupling (6) and held by screws (9). The lever also moves about the Z axis. A shaft (10) attached to the cross coupling is attached to a barrel shaft (13) by a ball and socket coupling (11). This shaft moves the gearbox (3) control shaft (2) through a coupling (14). Rotational movement is obtained from an extension (15) to the bracket (4) and a shaft (18) connected to a bale and socket coupling (20) on the barrel shaft, the coupling being on the end of a radial extension of the barrel shaft.
