Abstract

The process to monitor the physical parameters of a fabric dyeing process uses a data processing system with electronic programme control to control the monitors where the output of the data processing unit is connected directly or indirectly to the input of the programme control. The system allows a computer-type unit to monitor and adjust the dyeing process, by measuring and correcting such parameters as temp./vol./pressure/concn./fluid level/pH values, to give an automatic process control without the complexity of converters and other peripheral equipment, giving flexibility and adaptability.
