Abstract

The strap which serves to tie two skis together lies terminally anchored along the ski's upper horizontal face (3) when not in use; and is brought into use by freeing one end and rotating the strap through 90 deg. about the opposed end so it is able to encircle and tie two skis together. The permanent attachment of strap (9) to ski is effected by a drilled plate (6) engaging a ski mounted stub axle (5), and the semi-permanent attachment by a hooked strap buckle engaging a ski-mounted plate (13) with a hook (14). The permanently attached strap plate (6) has a hooked strap anchorage (11) which receives the buckle hook after the 90 deg. strap rotation. The strap is of elastic material and the buckle is slideable.
