Abstract

The endless belt is mounted on a frame such that its inclination may be adjusted by pivotal rams at the rear. Below the belt are spray bars connected to a reservoir containing belt treatment liquid by a pump. The liquid is sprayed onto the belt and is collected by a frame under the belt return run so that the liquid may be retured to the reservoir. A brush at the lower end of the belt limits the amount of liquid carried by the belt.
