Abstract

Plastics moulding with multi-coloured surface effect comprises a thermoplastics moulding cpd. and particles of a deformable, heat-resistant, material of colour different from that of the thermoplastics, and the particles being randomly distributed i the cpd. and at least part of them being distinctly visible at the surface of the moulding. The matl. is used for the mfr. of e.g. casings, containers, components, appliances, baubles, combs. The moulding has two- or multi-coloured appearance without need of using more than one moulding cpd. of different colours.
