Abstract

The rapidly fitting infusion filtering adaptor for a coffee pot has a cover, and is designed to obviate current deficiencies in screening pot contents after removal of infusion filter, and features a filtering adaptor (1) which is placed for infusion and then removed and fits onto a centrally apertured semi-permanent screw on cover (2). Pref. the adaptor is of funnel shape and fits onto the cover via a rotary movement effecting the engagement of radial lugs (13) in circular cover recessed grooves (21). The cover itself is basically of shallow inverted 'U' in section screwing (26) socket sleeve fashion onto the pot top (3). The central area of the cover is of shallow inverted cone form (24) an incorporates central apertures for pouring.
