1329363 Tube end projectors; web cores P S GUSHING and H E STONE 28 Sept 1971 45241/71 Headings B8C and B8R [Also in Division B3] A closure cap for a paper core is drawn from a circular metal disc to form a shallow cup with a socket 14, Fig. 4, outwardly at the rim (15) of the cup, metal for the socket being drawn from the rim so as to form a flange 18 which varies from zero extent at the socket to a maximum extent diametrically opposite the socket. A central area of the bottom of the cup 12 is removed to leave a radially inwardly extending flange.
