Abstract
Roller assembly, comprising an inner stator member and an outer rotating roller member supported on the stator, is formed by moulding the outer roller member in a first plastics member then mounting the outer member between mould members and injecting a second moulding material in the cavity formed by the outer roller member and the mould members to form the inner stator member. The second material has moulding shrinkage props such as to provide a running clearance between the inner stator and outer roller when the moulding is cool.
