Abstract

The combined hot and cold water distribution chamber is housed in an open topped box (6) with walls (3, 5) suitably apertured for the passage of supply and discharge pipes and comprises a partitioned hollow closed cylinder (10), of which each chamber receives a valved (31) supply pipe (29 or 30) and three discharge pipes (23 to 28) of lesser diameter, the box featuring a lid apertured to provide access to valves without lid removal. Split ring clips on the box floor receive the distribution cylinder (10) which is positioned symmetrically w.r.t. the floor plan. A box could be built into a wall. The hot water cell would normally be insulated.
