Abstract

The plug has a fixing hook which grips behind a holding device of the socket, so that the plug can be swung around it while plugging in or opening the connection. The socket has opposite to the holding device a stop part into which a latch of the plug catches in the completely plugged-in state. The plug has a housing in which the contact carrier of the plug is surrounded by an inserted sealing ring. Into the housing of the plug enter the ends of the wires combined to a cable form which are butted to the contact parts in the contact carrier. The cable form is sealed and released from pull at the housing exit. The contacts in the plug are contact springs and are secured by at least one arresting part. The socket may be part of a housing for accepting control equipment and has a contact carrier surrounded by a sealing rim. The stop part is of springy material and for opening of the connection can be pulled back from the latch of the plug. The socket may be of a light metal casting or in synthetic material.
