Abstract

The adjustment mechanism has a shaft driven by a motor as well as a number of fixed selector contacts which are successively selected in both directions by moving selector contacts which are driven in rotation by the shaft. The shaft (1) and the driving motor are connected by a torque limiter which is composed of two coupled parts (2, 6) and several spring loaded balls (4). The first part of the coupling (2) has several curved fces (3) into which the balls are urged by the springs. The second part of the coupling (6) has a corresponding number of cavities (5) or curved surfaces into which the balls enter after overcoming the action of the springs.
