Abstract

The casing (1) has an aperture (2) in its rear wall, in which the clock is fixed, with the depth of the casing (1) being sufficient to allow free rotation of the clock hands, when the casing is secured to the rear face of the shop window. The casing (1) is pref. injection moulded and framed integrally with a dish-shaped part (3) extending below the casing (1) and with an adhesive band (8) applied around its periphery and used for fixing the clock to the window. The clock numerals and further information, e.g. the shop opening hours, are printed on an additional plate secured to the front surface of the shop window.
