Abstract

Hydraulic oscillator with only two movable parts consisting of a reciprocating piston in a cylinder and a reciprocating reversal valve in a chamber. There are means to generate different flow conditions at opposite ends of the valve in the chamber, which include inlet and outlet orifices in the cylinder, connected with the valve chamber and closed and released by the piston during its reciprocation. The movable parts are in a housing with a main inlet and outlet. The valve has a flow passage between its ends and this is continuously connected with the main inlet, while the opposite ends of the valve chamber are permanently connected to the main outlet.
