Abstract
Still includes an inner evaporator tube mounted on a base concentrically in an outer condenser tube. The evaporator tube is made of microporous plastic material. The base encloses a feed line for impure water and a fresh water removal line. The feed water rises up the evaporator tube by capillary action and impurities descend the tube to re-enter the impure water line. Water vapour is condensed on the condenser tube which is pref treated with a surfactant to prevent fogging. The condensed waterr flows down the tube into the fresh water line.
