Abstract

A mould for e.g. blow moulding a plastic bottle or similar article has a first pair of half moulds providing a moulding cavity for e.g. the neck of the bottle and a second pair of half moulds providing e.g. a moulding cavity for e.g. the body of the bottle. When the pairs of half moulds are put together a complete bottle can be moulded. By using pair of half moulds for the body and several different pairs of half moulds for the neck (or vice versa) a varsity of different shaped bottles can be produced. The cost of providing moulds to provide a variety of different shaped bottles is reduced.
