Abstract

At least two interscrewing sections (101, 201) present an egg shaped cavity from which the small end of the egg protrudes, and may have internal elastic fittings which serve to grip the egg and compensate for differences in egg size. Pref. these elastic fittings are laminar elastic plastic loops arranged internally around the cup opening or are constituted of foam rubber rings. A third cap section can be utilised to completely enclose and insulate the egg. Section connections are push fits or screwed joints (401) and the base section can have a horizontal base (301) or a vertical stem fitting onto a separate base.
