Abstract

The object of the invention is to control the validity of cards in the form of season tickets for repeated but limited use, such as permits for ski-lifts. The circuit includes an interrogator for the data written on the card, an investigation circuit, and a compatibility check to guard against the possibility of fraudulent use. The checking circuits include relay pickups and rotary switches. Data checked is typically the date, ticket no, station no etc. The electronic circuit includes a counter unit to check frequency of use and caters for different types of permit.
