Abstract

Press mould for glued multi-layer skis has low sidewalls extending over only a fraction of the thickness of the ski, and is elastically flexible parallel to its longitudinal mid plane. Preferably the height of the sidewalls equals or is less than the height of the steel edges. The sidewalls extend only to the beginning of the blade curvature, in which region the mould part is concave upward, with a smaller curvature than that of the ski. The mould floor is an elastic e.g. steel sheet, with welded, riveted, or screwed-on, sidewalls as strips. A more rational prodn. process for glued skis is thereby obtd.
