Abstract

Triazoles are of formula (I): (where Z is H or aminocarbonyl opt. N-substd. by 1-4C alkyl; X is halogen, 1-4C alkyl, CF3 or CH3O; and n = 0-3). (I) are used as antihypertensives, anticonvulsants, anxiolytics, sedatives, analgesics, anti-inflammatories, respiratory and cardiac analeptics, hypertensives, CNS stimulants, vasodilators, antiarrhythmics diuretics, anti-bronchoconstrictors, anticholinergics and antiulcer agents. (I) may be prepd. by reacting aniline and a hydroxy methyl) 1,3,4-oxadiazole in a solvent or excess aniline, and then heating with methyl isocyanate in benzene at 100-120 degrees C.
