Abstract

The component wiring frame for a switchboard panel components, such as printed circuit boards, relays, semiconductors etc., is built up from a series of double-sided profiled rails which support the circuit boards or component units between them. Each rail has its axis horizontal and is combined with other parallel rails and circuit boards or units to form a vertical wall. The top and bottom of each rail is shaped to engage the circuit board or unit, and all rails are supported at their ends by vertical ducts carrying the wiring. The wires are led horizontally through further ducts which clip into the side of the rails and lie parallel to them.
