Abstract

A disposable nappy has >=1 tape tab for closing the nappy about an infant, each tab having an adhesive on one surface and being attached to an outside surface of the nappy. Before use each tape is folded about an edge of the nappy and a major part of the adhesive is covered by a release sheet. A small portion of the adhesive is not covered by the release sheet and engages the inside of the nappy to hold the tape in a neatly folded configuration. The tape does not interfere with the folding and packaging. of the nappy. Part of the release sheet may be arranged not to a adhere to the adhesive so that this part of the release sheet can be grasped for removal.
