Abstract

The plate heater for preventing a plastics flying door of a cold storage room to harden or to become ice coated is produced as a plastics laminate sandwiching a resistance heater mesh of the same flexibility as the flexible door leaf, at least. The heater may have a mesh of 5 mm and may extend only over a part of the door leaf structure. It may be subdivided into panels with independent terminals for supply connection.
