Abstract
Retaining wall for banks of earth, especially useful in road construction, etc. consists of a network of reinforced concrete beams, of which the main beams (1) rest on the bank and can be curved or straight according to the incline of the bank. The secondary beams (2) are straight and parallel or perpendicular to the surface of the bank. In the lower part of the network there are access doors (4) to allow removal of earth. The spaces between the beams are small enough to prevent rocks from falling through. A small trench (7) allows water to drain away.
