Abstract

Snugly inter-fitting inner (1) and outer (4) helmets have two opposed lateral perforations (2) affording locking onto the hanger (8) when not in use. The inner helmet (1) is a lightweight reinforced skullcap with apertures for eyes mouth and ears, and the outer helmet (4) is of heavier construction and at least partially covers the inner apertures. The inner helmet has a mouth cut-out and both helmets have a series of slits (3) adjacent to each ear. The outer helmet (4) has a vizored (6) eye cut-out (5). Both helmets are of reinforced plastic, and dovetail clip together.
