Abstract

The stabling system eliminates manual cleaning of stalls, saving time and labour. Two rows of individual stalls (1) open into central corridor (2). EAch has an access (3) leading to an outside area. Dividing partitions (4) are pivoted to hang clear of floor area and swing to one side, closing exterior access and keeping horses outside. This opens the row of stalls to allow a tractor to drive straight through and clean out the area. Partitions are in two sections, the lower part having a kick board, swinging horizontally to prevent horses damaging their legs when being moved.
