Abstract

This is an addn. to 7127366 which described a torch fitted with two regulating valves for the gas mixt. used for heating, and a third, control valve for the oxygen used in cutting; the two regulating valves contain rods working in a PTFE housing, whereas the control valve on the cutting oxygen uses a PTFE rod working in conjunction with an 'O' ring. In the present invention, the seal in the regulating valves is assured by using an 'O' ring, and the seal in the control valve is achieved by adding a second 'O' ring and a compression-spring with two supporting discs working between the two 'O' rings.
