Abstract

The mounting strip, of flat C section, is mounted on its back on the wall or girder. The heads of the two bolts used to mount the clamp are of a narrow T type form that will, in one angular position, pass through the slot in the mounting strip, but will by turning through 90 deg. and lifting, lock in the slot and prevent rotation. The semicircular bottom half clamp made of sheet steel formed into U section is placed on the bolts, the pipe with an antivibration cover is positioned on the clamp, two spacers fitted on the bolts to prevent over compression, and the top half of the clamp is positioned. Nuts are tightened onto the screws to complete the mounting.
