Abstract

Each indicator is triangular (1). Lamps (4) are arranged in inverted T form. The vertical part (2) is used to indicate that no change of lane is intended when speed is maintained, or increased. These lamps are orange coloured. The horizontal part (3) is used to signal right angle turns where speed will be reduced, or the vehicle may first stop. These lamps are red. Four such indicators are used, as normally. They are operated by a normal indicator switch, which has two positions for each direction of turning. The first position gives an orange preliminary warning and can be followed by the second position giving a red final warning. All lamps flash in the usual way.
