Abstract

A support for holding and fixing pipes to surfaces such as walls and which can make allowance for misalignments. Two half collars (1, 2) have a mortise and tenon (3, 4) location at one end and clamping lugs (5, 6) at the other. Stiffening ribs (1', 2') are provided. In each lug is a clearance hole for a clamping screw (8). The fixing bolt (7) has an elongated hole in its head to provide some lateral play for lining up when clamping the half collars on the pipe. The fixing bolts can be provided with any suitable end fitting, such as a metal thread or a masonry fixing.
