Abstract

Ion exchange resin carrying a yeast invertase enzyme linked almost irreversibly to the resin. The nature of the enzyme is unaffected by bonding to the resin. The prod. is used e.g. for saccharose hydrolysis at 10-30 degrees C for 10-85 vol. % soln. The resin is specif. polystyrene crosslinked with divinyl benzene. 1 g regin contains up to 60 mg invertase.
