Abstract

The clip is of generally conventional type with a curved plate spring (3) connecting the jaws and urging them together. The jaws have cooperating undulating faces and to ensure that slips with holes along one edge may be gripped securely one of the jaws has preferably a pair of teeth which pass through the holes in the slips. The teeth are attached preferably by soldering and pass through corresponding holes punched in the second jaw. The holes may be elongated into slots to ensure closure of the jaws even if they are not correctly aligned, as often happens with this type of spring clip.
