Abstract

Wrapping for rectangular boxes comprising a flat tubular central section, formed by folding over the sides of the basic cut-out shape, into which the box slides. The ends of the box are covered by end flaps which fold up and over the top of the package. The ends f these flaps have interlocking cut-out shapes which hold the package and have a decorative effect. There are several variations on the shape and exact form of the interlocking pieces. The end flaps has a narrow rectangular region covering the end faces of the box and a further region tapering towards the interlocking cut out shapes. The tapering flaps may be formed by folding the edges of rectangular flaps.
