Abstract

An adjustable seat for working in low spaces. A reclining person adjusts the back to give a comfortable position and wheels are fitted for mobility. The sides (4) of the seat are joined by a bar (3) seving as a pivot for a thigh support cushion (2). The rear wheels (6) rotate about an axis (5) serving also as a bearing for the back adjuster (15, 16). The back (8) is pivoted (7) and can be adjusted by turning a threaded rod (12) working in a nut (11) on the frame and which acts as a stop for the back adjuster. A head rest (9) and a table (19) is provided. The seat may be used for working under vehicle engines for example and the back may be adjusted when in position under the engine.
