Abstract

A frame to position the windscreen against the vehicle ready to seal it into the aperture, has a curved arm (1) carrying three suction cups (3) mounted on the ends of adjusting screws (4), and each end of the arm is an attachment hook (2) on a swinging link, to clamp onto the vehicle. In a second design the curved arm has two pivot arms each end with locating pegs instead of hooks, and has one central suction cup. In a third design, an X shaped members carries two curved parallel arms with a suction cup at each junction point, making five in all. A solution for application to the sealing joint consists of equal parts of water, white spirits and liquid soap.
