Abstract

Either the top or bottom welds of the bag or both are discontinuous. This permits air to escape from the bag, which is useful when stacking, without the use of perforations. Pref. the welds are not in a straight line, rather they present a torturous path to air entering the bag, and are arranged so as to present the best non-return valve action.
