Abstract

The lock consists of a spring loaded push button which connects with a bolt which in turn bears on a lever. The lever is held against the bolt by a return spring. The botton of the lever has two pawls which engage in cogs. Removal of the pawls from the cogs enables the latter to move under the influence of a third spring. This action also withdraws the bolt of the lock from the door. The door can then be opened.
