Abstract

The omnidirectional aerial is suitable for radar signals and feeds a microwave detector and after amplification any radar picked up will sound an alarm by its audio repetition rate. The user then picks up a directional aerial, scans the horizon by hand for the loudest response, thus locating the radar source. Further watch would indicate the degree of hazard. The alarm may be audible or a luminous display.
