Abstract
High speed micro-motor drives, through reduction gearing comprising primary simple gear train, to a secondary axial crown-gear enclosing triple equally-spaced epicyclic gears. The output of this second set of gearing is to a plate which carries a slowly rotating output shaft which is connected to the mixing valve of the heating system. The assembly is relatively noiseless and is contained within a miniature unit requiring little maintenance, the two gears trains being mounted within a single cylindrical housing.
