Abstract

The dispenser is a bottle with a cylinder and outlet tube passing through the centre of the stopper. A piston with a graduated shaft works inside the central cylinder to pump liquid into the outlet tube and through a nozzle into any other container. Simple valving arrangements allow the outlet tube to remain full and prevent the liquid syphoning back into the dispenser. This makes the dispenser accurate for small quantities and hygienic in use. The valves allow the cylinder to refill on the back stroke of the piston.
