Method of preparing ferrimagnetic materials comprises: weighing out the desired components; adding (ethyl) alcohol to make a thick paste and ultrasonically grinding the powder; drying at 100 degrees C; homogenising the dried powder; presintering in an oxidising atmos. at 1000-1250 degrees C; ultrasonically grinding the presintered mass; magnetically sepg.; drying; isostatic pressing; and firing the mouldings at 1100-1400 degrees C.
