Abstract

In determination of creatine kinase by reaction of creatine phosphate with ADP to form creatine and aTP, in the presence of an SH gp-contg. activator and measuring quantitative change of a reactant N-acetyl cystein is used as the activator. Stability of N-acetyl cystein allows prepn. of reagents for medical diagnosis based on detecting CK-activity changes in serum, e.g. determining severity of heart attacks.
