Abstract

A distribution floor for the entry of gas and/or liquid into a fluidised bed comprises two perforated plates, parallel and one above the other with a space between. The total area of the openings in the lower plate is equal to or less than that of the openings in the upper plate. The intervening space is pref. subdivided by vertical partitions into separate chambers.
